NaNoWriMo 2018 - Part 2

Hmmm ... I knew I'd change my mind. If you read my previous post about NaNoWriMo for this year (2018) then you'll know that I'd already changed my mind once about what to write.

Yeah, I didn't like that idea either!

I have thought about this a little more and have fleshed out an idea that I AM going to write! Here's the synopsis:
When Bryson Stoddart relives the final few weeks of a serial killer’s life he realises that the work of the killer was not complete. Bryson tracks down the body of the killer and becomes embroiled in a race to stop the final part of the killer’s plan coming true.
An all-out manhunt across the United States is underway for the killer, but Bryson soon becomes the prime suspect for all the wrong reasons. When Bryson has to make the ultimate sacrifice to prevent the killer’s legacy, his life will never be the same again.
I even created a temporary book cover for the NaNo pages. It's far from ideal, but I don't want to spend any money on a cover until I know that this is going places. Here's the placeholder cover:

This has been an idea in the "ideas file" for a while and with a little bit of planning, I have a roadmap of how to proceed. I usually don't plan (I "pants" it), but this time I have!

I look a bit of a liberty with the quote on the cover, as, well ... someone has to rave about it! It also gives me something to live up to.

If you like the sound of this and want to be a Beta reader whenever it's finished, pop over to my website and sign up. I don't have a site for this book yet, but my other published novel has a website, and you can sign up as a Beta Reader there.

Hopefully, this will be the last post about NaNoWriMo 2018 announcing a change, but you never know.
