A Novel Approach

Hmmm ... I knew I'd change my mind. If you read my previous post about NaNoWriMo for this year (2018) then you'll know that I'd already changed my mind once about what to write. Yeah, I didn't like that idea either! I have thought about this a little more and have fleshed out an idea that I AM going to write! Here's the synopsis: When Bryson Stoddart relives the final few weeks of a serial killer’s life he realises that the work of the killer was not complete. Well, having just found the post I wrote in February about NaNoWriMo 2017, I thought it was time to put my thoughts down in writing for 2018. I've been thinking about this for months now, setting aside November for writing, as I did last year, and deciding on which story to put my 50,000 words into. And that's where the process sat ... for quite some time! September is nearly over and that leaves just a month to get my ass into gear and work out what to do. I had tweeted a few weeks ago (September 13th) that: "Finally figured out what I'm going to write for #NaNoWriMo this year! Have been wanting to write a space story for a while so have come up with a "plan". I did it! 50,046 words in a novel I decided to write for NaNoWriMo 2017. I started this adventure doubting I would achieve that goal and I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled it out of the bag on the final day, to limp across the finish line. Here's the synopsis I wrote back in October 2017 for the book and the cover that I had designed by a nice lady in Brazil. The Sirrupa family run it all. From High-quality imports to addictive “street” products. Nothing comes into the country without their knowledge, at least that had been the case until now. An underground movement rebelling against this monopoly will go to any lengths to undermine the Sirrupa domination of the market. The Sirrupa Family also influence power within the Police, Government and food retail, making any disruption to the market nigh impossible. One man is about to change all this. Known as the Lichfield Ice Cream King to his underground followers, Spencer to his friends, he has been planting the seed

At the Birmingham NEC this year (2018) there will be an event called Makers Central, showcasing YouTubers from all over the world, with suppliers and vendors from the UK.
